“I came to Milan for the first time in February, and then again in May and June. In OASI I worked under the supervision of Dr. Alberto Gobbi whose approach, professionalism, organization and precision in planning and coordinating research projects I was able to observe. It was an honor to assist and observe him during the surgical operations, especially during the LIPOGEMS treatments and the Hyalofast implant, two highly innovative and still very little practiced techniques.

Furthermore, I feel very lucky to have participated in Anika’s workshops training, led by Dr. Gobbi, during which I was able to learn how to best use the Hyalofast. Most of the time I was in charge of clinical trials, working and researching the database. Considering the diversity of the studies and the large number of patients included, it was a unique place to learn new knowledge.

I wish to thank Dr. Alberto Gobbi for his valuable teachings and advice; Jane Hayward for the help, patience and kindness she showed me during the whole time I was in OASI; the staff of the Foundation and all the doctors I have met during these months. “

“My name is Dawid Szwedowski, I am an Orthopedist from Toruń (Poland). My main interests are in knee and hip surgery with particular regard to biological treatments of osteoarthritis. I arrived at OASI Bioresearch Foundation with the intention of learning the most advanced cartilage repair techniques and knee ligament reconstruction under the supervision of the Pioneer in this field: Prof. Alberto Gobbi. It is my intention on my return home to spread the techniques learned on mesenchymal stem cells in orthopedic surgery . I contributed to the writing of scientific articles on knee conservative surgery and knee ligament reconstruction surgical technique. It was a unique experience and a milestone for my knowledge and professional development. “
